Reindeer Manor

So, not too long ago Reindeer Manor had become..well, meh. Not bad, not great…just, as they say, meh. Meh, you say? Nah, I say. Reindeer Manor is back again, revamped, re-invented, and re-energized. For the 2nd year in a row, we left the show absolutely blown away. It’s loud. It’s in your face. Heck, it’s beyond in your face. (Yes, this IS a touch haunted house. If that bothers you, then take your tender-footed butt elsewhere. This is not for you!) If that intrigues you, well padnah come on down and see what all the fuss is about.

Reindeer is succesful because of the fine actors and the incredible attention to detail. The traditional beginning still hasn’t changed. I won’t say what that is, in case you’ve forgotten, or in case you haven’t been. However, the intro scene from there has been charged up, and let’s just say things start off with a BANG! Some of the scenes you may recognize from way back when, but the entire show is different. You’ll get chills, laughs, and special effects that will blow you away. Reindeer’s scares come from well crafted impropmptuesque plays that break out in each room, and the pitch black darkness that you encounter between these scenes. So yes, if you are a theatre buff, you HAVE to get out and check this place out! It is not a cheap show, but it is well outside of the buck a minute formula that we use. You are DEFINITELY getting bang for your buck with this one. Not your typical haunt, but more of a haunted house around a theatrical performance. One that’s ready for Broadway, for sure.

There really isn’t a single reason NOT to get out to Reindeer Manor. This place has been a Dallas tradition since 1974. 35 years! Is it really Halloween in DFW without visiting Reindeer? Do yourself a favor, and go check it out.
