Announcing the 1st Annual Fastest Pint
Competition
 On
Friday the 13th we are rolling out our newest innovation in the
world of getting blood out of people as fast as possible: the
First Annual Fastest Pint Competition! This is just about as
simple as it sounds... Whoever can give a pint of blood the
fastest when the Carter Bloodmobile is on the grounds of Reindeer
Manor from 10pm until 2am will win a four pack of combo tickets
which will give free admission to all the attractions on the
grounds for four people! When you add in the free T-shirt,
hot dog and drink everyone gets for donating, this is a prize

newest addition to the grounds of Reindeer Manor,
Uncle Stinky's Playhouse will open
its doors for the first time on our opening night, Saturday the
30th of September 2006. After the rave reviews the clown
room received in the Haunted House at Reindeer Manor, we decided
to make it its own attraction! Now our clowns have room to
cavort and caper with their fearless leader... good ol' Uncle
Stinky. With a ticket price of only $5 your
coupon pays for this newest Dallas
haunted house completely when you purchase a combo ticket to
all three attractions |

9/7/06 Real People Reviews are back open and ready for new entries!!
Because of an inundation of spam during the off
season we had to close the Real People Review board
to keep all the ads for pills and other dirty things off of this
site. However, we have been able to purge the spam and proof
the board (as much as possible) so that you can once again tell us
what you think! Good or bad, helpful or hurtful, we
want to hear what you thought about the show last season and what
you think about it this year. Even if you haven't seen it
yet, let us know what you are hoping to see improved upon or
anything else you want to tell us. |

Paranormal investigation excerpt
Over the years, folks
that work and visit Reindeer Manor have experienced many strange
occurrences. Unearthly noises are heard by those who spend the
night during the work season. Locals have seen eerie lights
dancing in the windows of the buildings when the entire property
was vacant. And most everyone who enters the house alone feels as
if someone is watching them or feels "cold spots" in some places.
Some have professed to see actual spirits or objects floating in
thin air. Recently a picture was taken of our mascot
"Stinky" for
a publicity stunt... when the film was developed the
face of a
young boy was seen faintly in the background. Because of
this and other evidence the DFW Ghost Hunters was invited to come
to the manor to investigate, here is an excerpt from their report.
"proceeded to the
attic of the Manor itself where it is told you can hear footsteps
roaming about. After setting up our equipment I turned my
camcorder to the location where we were going to make an attempt
at communicating to the dead through E.V.P (electronic voice
phenomena ) as I was waiting for everyone to be quiet my digital
recorder that I leave recording for notes stops then rewinds and

300% Bigger Than 2004!
The 32nd terrifying season of Reindeer Manor is
going to be kicked off this weekend on Saturday the First day of
October, 2005. We have grown by leaps and bounds this season
over last with the addition of our new
haunted
attractions The Macabre Midway, The Royal Theater (the only
movie theater in Red Oak) and introducing the
13th
Street Morgue in their debut season at Reindeer Manor.
Of course there is still
the
Haunted House at Reindeer Manor as well as all the
Not-Ready-For-Post-Mortem Players and Dr. Irvin Von Hacknslash to
entertain you as they have in past seasons. So come early
and often this year and see all the exciting new things to do to
get the best bang for your buck |

9/15/05 Ghost Photo Discovered
Over the years, folks
that work and visit Reindeer Manor have experienced many strange
occurrences. Unearthly noises are heard by those who spend the

was vacant. And most everyone who enters the house alone feels as
if someone is watching them or feels "cold spots" in some places.
Some have professed to see actual spirits or objects floating in
thin air. Recently a picture was taken of our mascot stinky for
a publicity stunt... when the film was developed the
face of a
young boy was seen faintly in the background. We do not know
who this child is, nor have we seen him again, but some speculate
that he was one of the children who perished in the fire. Other
pictures have been found to have strange things on them that
weren't there when the photo was taken but strangely none have
survived... they all seem to either be destroyed or lost before
they can be examined thoroughly

anything odd, please visit our

book and tell us about it. You can either send it to us
privately or allow for public viewing as well as include any
images which would support your claims. Every occurrences is
thoroughly investigated and your help is greatly appreciated.

4/25/05 Haunt Con Visits Reindeer Manor
 We
had the opportunity to host a special behind the scenes tour of
our haunted house on Wednesday April 20th. Attendees got to
see not only how we specifically are able to do our pyrotechnics
and other special effects but also quite a lot of history about
the location. They had detailed demonstrations of the
falling ceiling, the Tesla Coil, and pirate ship in addition to
exploring the world of charity haunting on a budget. Check

10/1/04 Special
Sneak Preview Tonight
 Tonight
at 7 pm The Haunted House at Reindeer Manor is opening its doors
(or what's left of them) for its 30th terrifying season!
This weekend is a special sneak preview for anyone who wants a
peek at the brand new show this season. Look for the road
signs like the one on the right to help you find your way from I35
to the Manor Grounds.
We now carry Boy Scout Popcorn!
We now carry the delicious Trails End brand of popcorn that is
only available through the Boy Scouts of America. If you have had the
pleasure of having this popcorn before then you know its some of the best out
there and now you can get it with no waiting from Wolfgangs Chili Parlor.
You can take home a box or have a bag popped for you right there while you wait.
There is no delivery so you don't have to wait weeks to get your order like you
normally have to when you purchase from the Scouts going door to door. It
is in stock and ready for you to enjoy so get your Scout popcorn from Reindeer
Manor and leave the popping to us. |

9/27/04 Its Almost Time!
The Haunted House at Reindeer Manor
will be opening its doors (what's left of them at least) to the
public in less than a week! This is our 30th anniversary so
we have gone all out with a vastly new and improved attraction.
Every room in the house is either completely new or has been
augmented with eye popping special effects and a new attention to
detail. If you have been to The Manor before come again this
year to see a whole new show and if you have never experienced the
thrill before then you will be in for the fright of your life.
Announcing the 2nd Annual Reindeer Manor Blood Drive
 This
season we also are having the second annual Reindeer Manor Blood Drive on Friday
the 8th - every donor will receive a free hot dog and soft drink from Wolfgangs
Chili Parlor as well as a free T-Shirt from the Carter Blood Mobile which will
be on the Manor grounds from 9 pm to 1:30 am. We promise we will keep the
vampires away while you donate. |

8/6/04 The work has started
Well the spooks have all had a
wonderful spring and summer but its time to get started on the
2004 season! Even though
Stinky wont be helping much this year we have decided to go
ahead with planning and preparation. We have some exciting
ideas for this our 30th
anniversary - its going to be a new and improved show with bigger
and better frights. If you think Reindeer Manor was scary in
the past, just wait till you see what we have in store for you
this season! Keep an eye on the photo gallery
for pics of when we are getting the house ready this year... its
always a sight to see. And don't forget to enroll in

Stinky Throws His Hat into the Presidential Ring
 You
have seen him at the Haunted House, he has been your host at the
website for a long time, now watch as he makes his bid to become
the most powerful man in the world! Even though you thought
you knew him, you never got to see the real stinky... his history,
his roots, where he was educated and to whom he was born, but now

Thanks for another great season!
Another season
is in the bag for all of us here at Reindeer Manor and while its
time for everyone to start thinking about Christmas and
thanksgiving now - we just want to let you all know that next year
has some very exciting things in the works right now so make sure
you check back here throughout the year to find out what fun,
creepy new stuff we have in store for you in our 30th anniversary
year of 2004! In the mean time, from all of us at Reindeer
Manor, we wish you all a happy holiday season and would like to
say thanks to all of you who attended this year as well as to all
of our wonderful volunteers - we couldn't do this year after year
without you guys. Thank you all so much |

10/24/03 Come rain or shine we are open!
 Even
when its pouring down rain we have the facilities to make sure you
get the best show we can put on. The Boy Scout Motto is "Be
Prepared" and we are living up to our parent organizations mantra
by covering all our inclimate weather contingencies. Even
though this weekends forecast calls for the possibility of rain on
Friday and/or Saturday (parish the thought) don't let that stop you from
visiting. We will make sure you are as comfortable as
possible and if it's just too wet when you're here we will give you a rain
check which will not only give you another visit to our Haunted
House but also a free hot dog and soft drink from our snack bar on
your return! So make sure you visit this weekend...

so come early and come often because you never know what you might

Its almost TIME!!!
That's right -
the moment you have all been waiting for is almost here!
Opening night will be here before you know it and we are
incredibly busy putting the finishing touches on everything. The
new derrick (featured on the left) has its flames workin' and all
the rooms are ready. We thought as one final hurrah to the
pre season we would let you see
what goes into the making of Reindeer Manor for our 30th season
(just a little tiny sample). We also thought we would give
you a sneak preview of the house this year, but then we figured
you might as well just wait till this weekend and see it first

We got a little gas
This week we
have almost finished our brand new Shell
gas station! It will feature antique pumps and broken
windows with a couple of explosive extras! The real surprise
will be on the derrick that supplies the fresh oil to the pumps
because it will shoot a fifty foot geyser of fire into the air as
you fill your tank - its just our way of saying thanks for
dropping your load here at the olde time Shell

 7/1/03 We
are gettin' TWISTED this season!
Work started
today on the thirtieth addition to the Reindeer Manor legacy.
This year, in addition to our already brimming haunted theme park,
there will be two all new rooms in the Manor plus two 24ft
vortex's back to back!! We went out and decided to do this
common haunted house feature the right way, the Reindeer
Manor way and make it the biggest ever built! We are also
making sure there will be a good spot to puke when you get out.
